To become an A.W.W.G.A member, a player will have an Apache Wells Country Club membership, pay the yearly prize dues, and have an established, paid Arizona handicap.

A.W.W.G.A members meet on Thursday at a designated time (usually the afternoon shotgun start) and compete in the game of the day. Playing season is from November 1st to April 30th.

Guests are welcome to play twice a season. They pay green fees but are not eligible for prizes.

New members names are submitted to the Arizona Women's Golf Association upon receipt of dues. Temporary handicaps are started when five cards with completed 18 hole scores or an established handicap from another golf club are turned into the handicap chair. A permanent handicap is established with 20 completed scores. A 40 handicap is the maximum allowed.
