The Board of Directors has approved the hiring of our Food & Beverage Manager for the new clubhouse.

Mr. Robert Ans


Robert graduated from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in 2000. He performed his externship at Mama’s Fish House in Maui, Hawaii. Rob was the Chef Tournant at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel from 2002-2005. He executed daily inventory and ordering, maintained and operated all stations in fine dining and club-level buffet.


From 2005-2007, Rob was employed with the Scottsdale Hilton Resort and Villas. He was the Chef De Cuisine and he administered daily training to both the restaurant and banquet staff. Rob developed and produced the meal, room service and pool bar menus at the Scottsdale Hilton. In addition he also prepared menus for events such as corporate outings and weddings. He was directly involved in all financial aspects of the food and beverage programs at the Hilton Resort.


From 2007-2008 he was the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef for the Old Town Group Concept Restaurant and the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, where he oversaw the operations of the restaurant kitchens and administered training to both the restaurant and banquet staff.


Most currently, Rob was the Executive Chef for a restaurant in Scottsdale, known as “Poco” at Imagine Spain.


Rob is very familiar with our new food and beverage software package. He is quite capable of managing the food costs; labor costs and the handling of our entire bar and grill operations. We are delighted and very happy to have someone with Rob’s qualifications and expertise to initiate and begin our new clubhouse’s bar and grill. Rob will be a part of our management team and officially be on board in July 2009.
