E-BLAST APACHE WELLS COUNTRY CLUB, INC. May 23, 2008
The
construction process is beginning to pickup more speed each day,
there are numerous details to resolve and always a new “twist” or
challenge to deal with. The crew, Ron Woodward-Mark Mueller-Jim
Nosbish-Dick Lucas-By Hanson-Larry Stalnaker-Steve and Kaira
Daughton-Phil White-Brian Johnson-Hal Jacoby-Duane Winslow-George
Flurey-Ron Ancker-Jim Wellman-Troy Curtis (supervisor – in spirit)
and many others have been kept busy working under the direction of
the Chief Train Engineer, Bernie Connors. The
packing of the buildings contents and salvaging the usable equipment
and inventory has proven to be a “big” job. There are a few
attachments of photos taken in the past weeks of work in progress.
The Golf Shop and Executive Office has continued to work on a regular schedule and summer golf play has been as projected. The beverage (soft drinks, beer and wine) sales are consistent and have created some good cash flow.
The temporary Offices, Golf Shop, Snack Bar and Work Rooms should be in place by the end of May and the old clubhouse facility should be abandoned and prepared for demolition. The asbestos removal will begin 6-9-08 and will continue for about two weeks. The mini storage units will also be on the property by the end of May.
The collection of the special assessment has progressed very well. Year to date the collected amount is $1,359,771. Currently there are only 18 certificates delinquent for payment or payment option selection.
Have a good summer and enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend.
The Train is on the move!
